Jewelry Care Guide

How to Care for Your Jewelry

Your handcrafted jewelry is made with quality materials and attention to detail. With proper care, your pieces will maintain their beauty for years to come.

General Care Tips

  • Remove jewelry before: Swimming, showering, exercising, cleaning, or applying lotions and perfumes
  • Store properly: Keep pieces in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Store separately to prevent scratching
  • Put jewelry on last: Apply makeup, hairspray, and perfume before putting on your jewelry
  • Take jewelry off first: Remove your pieces before bed and before any activities that could damage them

Cleaning Your Jewelry

Sea Glass & Natural Stone Pieces

Gently wipe with a soft, damp cloth after wearing. For deeper cleaning, use mild soap and lukewarm water, then pat dry with a soft cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic cleaners.

Shark Tooth & Fossil Jewelry

Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth. If needed, use a slightly damp cloth with mild soap, then dry immediately. Avoid soaking in water as it can damage natural materials.

Metal Components (Gold, Silver, etc.)

Use a jewelry polishing cloth to restore shine. For tarnished silver, use a silver polishing cloth or gentle silver cleaner. Avoid abrasive materials that can scratch the metal.

What to Avoid

  • Harsh chemicals, bleach, and chlorine
  • Extreme temperatures
  • Prolonged exposure to water
  • Rough surfaces that can scratch or damage your jewelry
  • Storing multiple pieces together without protection
